Streaming sonfication of seismic data

Glacioburst Sounds Audiostream

The sonification of 184 days of seismic data recorded on a Greenland glacier is now available as an audio stream.

In the post Listen to seismic noise I have described the sonification of seismic data recorded on an outlet glacier of the A.P. Olsen icecap in Greenland. The sonification of the data set covering the fill and drain cycle of a glacier dammed lake is now available as an audiostream at m-aar radio.

The stream provides the data of 184 days in and endless loop. The sonification compressed each day into an audio stream of 7 minutes length. The total duration of the full data set is therfore 21 hours and 28 minutes.
